☕ Understanding the Joe Loyalty Tab in the Joe Coffee App

The Loyalty Tab in the Joe Coffee App is designed to make your coffee experience more personal and rewarding. It highlights loyalty cards, rewards, and favorite stores based on your activity and preferences.

🎯 For Customers

• The Loyalty Tab shows your Loyalty Cards for various participating coffee shops.
• If you use multiple shops, the card that appears first will be:
  • The one from the store you last ordered from, or
  • The card with the highest balance.

🏪 For Point of Sale (POS) Partners

If you're a coffee shop that partners directly via a POS integration:

• Your Loyalty Card appears front and center in your customer's app.
• This visibility helps boost loyalty and repeat purchases.

🔁 Loyalty Card Order & Prioritization

The app prioritizes loyalty cards based on:

1. If a user favorites your shop, it will be shown more prominently.
2. If a user uploads a balance (i.e., adds funds) to your card.
3. For first-time customers who:
   • Enter their phone number at your store’s register
   • Haven’t yet ordered through or downloaded the app
4. ➤ They will automatically:
   • See your shop as a favorited location
   • Have the items from that first order favorited in the app

🏢 Company Name (DBA) Display

• The company name shown in the Loyalty Tab is pulled from the DBA (Doing Business As) name in your Company Settings.
• ✅ This ensures consistent branding and makes it easier for customers to recognize and trust your shop.

❤️Favorites

• Populated directly from the menu level.
• Includes:
  • Items you frequently order
  • Items you’ve marked as favorite
• ⚡ Gives quick access to your go-to drinks and snacks.

🧾 Recent Orders

• Displays a history of your latest purchases.
• Also sourced from the menu level, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
• 🔁 Makes reordering fast and simple.

🔍 Recommendations

• Based on store-level data and behavior.
• Suggests items:
  • You’ve ordered before
  • That are popular at your favorite or nearby stores
• Similar logic to what’s used in Joe's Point of Sale (POS) system.

🌟 Featured Items

• Highlights the top 10 best-selling items from the last 30 days.
• Pulled from the selected store’s data.
• 📈 Shows what’s trending and what others are enjoying.

📱 Mobile-Only Partners

• Shops that only accept mobile orders through the Joe Marketplace are labeled under the:
  • VIP Rewards Card section in the app.
• These are still fully integrated, just without in-store POS systems.

🪪 joePass Card Structure

For First-Time Users:

• When they log in:
  • See a joePass Card with $0 balance.
  • Automatically shown up to 5 nearby stores based on geo-location.

For Existing Users:

They will see up to 5 stores in this order:

1. Favorited Stores
2. Favorite Items from those favorited stores
3. Closest stores (that are not yet favorited)
4. Recent Orders for easy reordering
