The Sales Summary tab in your joe Point of Sale app highlights your daily sales performance for the current business day. This feature was developed based on feedback and requests from our partners — including store Owners and Managers — to offer quick and accessible insight into daily operations.
🔔 Note: This Sales Summary is available only through the joe Point of Sale app, not in the Merchant Portal.
If your store operates with multiple registers, the data shown reflects store-wide sales totals for the day, not individual register performance. For in-depth and historical reporting, please refer to the Merchant Manager, where full reporting capabilities are available.
Sales Summary Column Definitions
| Name | Description |

| Gross Sales | Total sales based on the item base price (excluding taxes and modifiers). |
| Transactions | The total number of orders processed during the current business day. |
| Average Ticket | The Gross Sales divided by Total Orders. |
| Payment Type | Breakdown of sales by three payment methods used during checkout and mobile: |
| • Card | Includes all debit and credit card transactions. |
| • Mobile | Captures all mobile order sales placed through the joe consumer app. |
| • Cash | Reflects net cash sales for the day, excluding tax. |
| Tip Total | Displays the total amount of tips received for the day, followed by a tips-by-hour breakdown. |
