Refunds & Adjustments

Every refund, void, and comp — itemized with its tax impact. This is the one report that isn't net of refunds, since it's the detail that feeds into the others.

Each refund shows the goods refunded and the tax refunded, at the original rate. Refunds reduce both your revenue and your sales tax payable in the period they're processed.

If a refunded sale included a Joe-Funded Redemption, the corresponding reimbursement reverses too. This report includes a reimbursement-clawback column so that reversal is visible, and the deduction shows up in a later settlement.

FAQ

I refunded an order that used a reward — why did a deduction show up in my payout?
Joe had already reimbursed you for that reward (goods plus tax). Once the sale was reversed, that reimbursement reversed with it — itemized here and in the payout it was deducted from.
