Manage Customer Rewards Easily with Joe Merchant Manager
Joe Merchant Manager now empowers coffee shop owners to create new Rewards Customer Profiles or edit existing ones directly from a mobile device or desktop.
When customers join your Rewards program, their contact details are automatically added to your coffee shop CRM (Customer Relationship Manager). This allows you, as a shop owner, to include them in automated marketing campaigns, send direct messages regarding recent reviews, and leverage Joe’s full suite of marketing tools to engage your customers effectively.
Creating a New Customer Rewards Profile
To add a new customer to your Rewards program:
- Log in to your Merchant Manager at manage.joe.coffee, or from the My Joe page in the joe Coffee app, tap your Profile Picture in the top right corner, then select Owner Mode to access your Merchant Portal.
- From the Navigation Menu, select the Customers tab, then choose Customers from the category tabs at the top.
- Tap Create Customer.
- Fill in the required fields:
- First Name & Last Name
- Phone Number
- Optionally, you can add:
- Email Address
- Grant Reward Balance — credit the customer can use in your shop
- Grant Reward Points — to help them earn a free drink faster
- Tap Save.
Editing an Existing Customer Rewards Profile
- To update an existing profile:
- Go to the Customers tab in your Merchant Manager.
- Scroll or use the search bar to find the customer by name or phone number.
- Tap the pencil icon to edit their profile.
- Update any necessary details:
- Name
- Phone Number
- Reward Points
- Reward Balance
- Save your changes.
Important Note:
- The ability to add points or grant store credit is exclusively available to coffee shop owners through Merchant Manager.
- This feature is intentionally not available at the point of sale to prevent any potential misuse.
- If you can’t find a customer, you can always create a new profile by following the steps above.
