Adding Loyalty Points or Rewards to a Customer’s Profile — Yes, You Can!
If a customer has had a poor experience and you want to make it right, or if you’ve hosted a giveaway and the winner earns extra points toward a free drink, you—as the owner—can easily add Rewards points or update the Rewards Balance on a customer’s profile through your joe Merchant Manager.
Here’s how to do it:
Adding Points or a Balance to a Customer Profile
- Log in to your manager.joe.codee account via a web browser.
If you’re using the joe mobile app, tap your Profile Picture in the top right corner, then select Owner Mode to access your Merchant Portal. - From the Navigation Menu, select the Customers tab, then choose Customers from the category tabs at the top of the screen.
- Find the customer by scrolling through the list or by using the Search Bar—enter the customer’s name or phone number.
- Tap the pencil icon to edit the customer’s profile.
- To add rewards:
- Enter a dollar amount under Grant Reward Balance to add a credit they can use at your shop.
- Or add points under Grant Reward Points to boost their progress toward a free drink.
- Note: A free drink on joe is valued up to $6 and equals 1,000 points.
- Don’t forget to Save your changes!
