In our latest product update, Joe is introducing a new integration with Bookkeep, designed to help Partner Coffee Shops streamline their accounting and financial reconciliation across popular accounting and e-commerce platforms.
For a small monthly fee, Bookkeep allows you to automate the movement of sales and payment data from the Joe Operating System directly into your accounting software — saving time, improving accuracy, and simplifying compliance.

How to Integrate Joe with Bookkeep
Because Joe’s self-serve signup tool is still in development, our team will manually create your Bookkeep account for you. To get started, reach out through one of these channels:
- Email Support: support@joe.coffee
- Ask your Partner Growth Consultant (PGC) or Onboarding Specialist
Please include the following information:
- Company name and DBA
- Name
- Email address (will be used for Bookkeep login)
Once received, our team will create your Bookkeep account and connect it to your Joe data.
Sync Bookkeep with QuickBooks
If your shop uses QuickBooks, follow these steps within Bookkeep:
- Go to Integrations
- Select QuickBooks
- Authorize and connect your QuickBooks account
- Reach out to Ryan at ryan@joe.coffee so that we can send over a sample file for you to use for mapping fields
- Map joe fields to the appropriate QuickBooks accounts
- Enable daily automated syncing for sales data
These settings ensure your financial data appears correctly in your accounting system.
Review and Adjust Settings
Once connected, double-check:
- Sales tax mappings
- Discounts
- Tender types
- Any location-specific rules
This step ensures your books remain accurate and audit-ready.
Monitor & Manage Data
After setup:
- Regularly review your synced data in QuickBooks
- Use Bookkeep’s dashboard to monitor logs and troubleshoot discrepancies
- Contact joe Support if anything looks off
