The Customer tab is designed to give you quick access to customer data specific to your shop. This includes viewing balances, past orders, and managing refunds or account funds.
Searching for a Customer
To find a customer, simply enter their name or phone number into the search bar. Once selected, their customer card will display the following information:
- Customer Name – Displays the customer's first and last name.
- Balance – Shows the total amount of funds available to spend at your shop.
- Phone Number – The customer’s registered phone number.
- Load Funds – Allows you to add funds to the customer’s balance.
- Clear Balance – Lets you refund the customer’s remaining balance.
- View Orders – Shows the last 4 orders placed by the customer. From here, you can refund a previous order or print a receipt.
How to Refund a Previous Order
To process a refund for a past customer order:
- Search for the customer using their name or phone number.
- On their customer card, tap View Orders.
- Select the order you'd like to refund.
- A pop-up will appear showing the order details.
From this screen, you will see the following options:
- Refund Item – Select and refund specific items from the order.
- Print Item – Print the selected items on a receipt.
- Print Receipt – Print the full receipt for the order.
- Send SMS Receipt – Send a digital receipt to the customer's phone via SMS.
Note: Refunds typically take 3–7 business days to process. Customers will not see the refunded amount in their account immediately. If they have not received the refund after 7 business days, please direct them to contact support@joe.coffee.
