1. Accessing the Settings Tab
In the POS system, the Settings tab is located on the left side of the screen, indicated by a gear icon. When you open the Settings tab, you’ll find the following sections:
- Current Status
- General Settings
- Features
- Printers
- Card Readers
- Contactless Payment
- Support
2. Current Status
The Current Status section lets you review important details about your store and device, including:
- Software Information
- Device Information
- Store Information
3. General Settings
Under General Settings, you’ll find:
- Digital Orders: Toggle this on to automatically move all orders to "In Progress" once accepted on the tablet.
- Alert Volume: Adjust the volume of POS alerts to High, Low, or Manual (controlled by the device’s volume settings).
4. Features Tab
The Features tab contains toggles for various functionalities:
- Require Active Cash Till: Requires opening a cash till before processing in-person payments.
- Open Cash Drawer Automatically: Automatically opens the cash drawer after every cash transaction.
- One Screen Mode: Enables the consumer view on the same device.
- Enable Reward Prompt for Barista Screen: Displays a prompt asking "Are you a rewards member?" at the start of an order.
- Drive Thru Mode: Marks orders taken on this device as "Drive Thru" on the Status Screen.
- Device Alert: Alerts you when a new order is submitted to the device.
- In-Person & Mobile Order Acceptance: Requires baristas to manually accept all orders, printing tickets for both in-person and mobile orders. Disabling this will require acceptance only for mobile orders.
- Save Ticket Alert: Plays a chime when an "Open Tab" is saved or when items are added to an "Open Tab."
- Enable Barista Tip Out Report: Automatically prints a tip-out report when a barista clocks out.
Note: Disabled toggles can only be modified through the Merchant Manager Brand tab.
Additional Features:
- Require Clocked-In User: Requires at least one employee to be clocked in to open a cash till.
- Cash Out Tips From Till: : Allows baristas to take tips from the cash drawer.
5. Printers Tab
The Printers tab lets you connect and manage printers via Ethernet, USB, or Bluetooth.
6. Card Reader Tab
Use the Card Reader tab to connect and configure your card reader properly.
7. Contactless Payment Tab
The Contactless Payment tab allows you to manage contactless payment settings and devices. Use this section to tap-to-pay methods like Apple Pay, Google Pay, or contactless cards.
8. Support Tab
The Support tab provides access to helpful tools and resources for any questions or issues you may encounter.
