On-Screen Payment and Processing Prompts
The joe Point of Sale system now features enhanced on-screen prompts related to payment processing and error handling during transactions.
These updates include:
New consumer prompts for adding tips and paying via chip, swipe, or tap.
Contextual prompts for baristas to provide real-time insights into customers’ payment status.
Payment error messages, such as “Card removed too early” or “Try a new read method,” to guide corrective actions.
These improvements aim to give baristas more context throughout the transaction, reduce the number of canceled payments, minimize workflow interruptions, and deliver a faster checkout experience for customers.
