We've designed the Inventory tab to be a simple and efficient tool for you and your staff to manage item availability across your menus.
1. Access the Inventory Tab
From the Joe app:
Tap the Clipboard icon on the left-hand sidebar to open your Inventory tab.
2. Navigate Through Menu Categories
- All menu categories are listed in the left-hand column.
- Modifier options appear at the bottom of the list.
- Click on any category name to display all items within that category.
3. Set Item Availability
Each item (and modifier) can be marked with one of the following statuses:
- 🟢 In Stock – Available for customers to order via the app.
- 🔴 Out of Stock – Temporarily unavailable in the app.
- ⚪️ Hidden Online – Only available for in-store purchase via shop with joe POS. Also hidden from kiosk menus.
4. Make Granular Adjustments
- Mark individual items or specific sizes as Out of Stock.
- You can also update the inventory status for an entire item in one action.
5. View Inventory Summary by Category
- The right-hand column shows a count of how many items in that category are marked as Out of Stock or Hidden on Mobile.
🔔 Important Notes
- When items are marked as Out of Stoke, a new Out of Stock Tab will appear also with Hidden, a new Hidden Items tab will appear for easy access.
- Remember to update Out of Stock items back to In Stock the next business day to ensure customers see accurate menu availability.
