Release Notes · Merchant Dashboard · v1.1.8
New in your JOE Dashboard:
Growth Attribution
What's new
Your Reports tab has a new report called Growth Attribution. It shows where your growth comes from: how new rewards members found you, what kinds of orders you're ringing, and how much each kind of rewards member spends with you, month by month.
Find it under Manager → Reports → Growth → Growth Attribution. It's the first report in the Growth tab.
Pro Tip: Use it alongside your Cost of Marketing Influenced Sales. One shows your growth. The other shows what it cost you.
How to read it
Four panels, top to bottom. Set the date range and store at the top, every panel will follow.
| Panel | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| New Rewards Members | How many patrons joined your rewards in the date range, and how they found you: Organic, App Discovery, or Web. |
| Order Mix | The share of your orders by type: In-Person Loyalty, Mobile Orders, Loyalty Balance, Non-Opt In, and Marketplace. |
| Growth by Reward Member Segment | Your sales each month, stacked by rewards segment. Each bar is your total sales for the month, patrons who haven't opted in included. |
| Orders by Patron Segment | The numbers behind the bars: how many patrons are in each segment, how often they order, what they spend per order, and what they spend over the period. |
Orders Per User and Sales Per User cover the whole date range you picked, not a single month. Widen the range and they go up.
Your reward member segments
Every rewards member lands in one segment at your shop, based on how they've engaged with you. The description sits right in the table, so you don't have to remember it.
| Segment | Who's in it |
|---|---|
| Marketplace | Discovered you via Joe. These patrons started with another shop on the network, or have only ever ordered ahead from you. |
| Platinum | Activated on the app and Reward Card. |
| Gold | Activated on the app. |
| Silver | Activated Reward Card. |
| Bronze | In person opt-in only. |
| Non-opt In | Did not opt in. Their orders and sales still count. There's no member to count, so the per-member columns stay blank. |
Segments are per shop. The same patron can be Platinum at the shop where they started and Marketplace at yours. Segments update as a patron's habits change.
Your Marketing tab is now Growth
Same reports, new name, new order. The Growth tab now runs:
- Growth Attribution (new)
- Cost of Marketing Influenced Sales
- Patron Acquisition
- Marketing Revenue
- Loyalty Balance
Every report kept its address, so your bookmarks and any links you've shared still work. Opening Growth lands on Growth Attribution now; Patron Acquisition is one click down the list.
A few things to know
- It shows patterns, not proof. Attribution is built on a model of which efforts drove which growth. Read it over weeks and months, not one order at a time.
- The last day or two may still be filling in. If yesterday looks light, check back tomorrow.
- Segments start on January 1, 2026. The segment data runs from the first of this year. If your shop was on JOE before then, patrons from that earlier history won't be in the segment table yet.
- Per-member numbers follow your date range. Orders Per User and Sales Per User cover the whole range you picked, not a month.
What Stayed The Same
- Your patrons' app. Nothing is different for them.
- Your counter: POS, checkout, pricing, and discounts.
- How patrons earn rewards.
- The numbers in your other reports, and how often they refresh.
- Report addresses, permissions, and who on your team can see what.
