Loyalty Balance
This shows loads, redemptions, and cash-outs for the period you've selected — kept separate from the total stored value you currently owe Patrons.
Three tiles follow your date filter:
- Loads — money Patrons added
- Redemptions & Cash-Outs — stored balance spent or cashed out (shown in parentheses)
- Net Change — the difference between the two
One tile ignores the date filter on purpose:
- Total Outstanding Balance — all unspent stored value you currently hold, as of today. This is a liability, not revenue, and it matches the stored-value rollforward in your accounting reports.
Balance IDs shown here are masked codes — no Patron names, phone numbers, or card numbers appear on this page.
FAQ
Why doesn't Total Outstanding Balance change when I change the dates?
It's a snapshot of what you owe right now, not activity over a period. The three activity tiles are the ones tied to your date range.
Is a gift-card load counted as revenue?
No. A load just increases the balance you owe the Patron. Revenue (and sales tax) is only recognized later, when that balance is actually spent on a purchase — a redemption is a payment method, not a discount.
