🧾 Daily Sales Closing Sheet
Follow these steps to properly close out your daily cash till and prepare for the next business day:
1. Record Employee Information
- Enter the names of all employees associated with the Cash Till in your Daily Sales Closing Sheet.
2. Input Sales and Tips Data
- Retrieve the Total Cash Sales and Total Tips amounts from the Merchant Portal → Reporting Tab.
- Enter these totals into your closing sheet accurately.
3. Calculate Cash On Hand
- Perform the cash calculations that align with your coffee shop’s preferred process (e.g., starting cash float, cash sales, tips, payouts, and ending balance).
4. Distribute Tips
- Review the bottom section of the sheet to properly allocate tips based on your payout process.
- Ensure tip division matches your cash sales and employee hours or roles, as applicable.
5. Close the Cash Till
- Close and date the Cash Till to finalize the day’s sales.
- This ensures your till is ready and accurate for tomorrow morning’s opening.
