This feature allows baristas to modify the wait time for a specific order, usually due to the size or preparation time of the order, without changing the global wait time. When an individual order’s wait time is adjusted, the customer will receive a notification via push notification and SMS text message, keeping them informed and setting clear expectations.
How to Adjust Order Wait Time:
- Update Your App
Make sure your joe Merchant Plus app is updated to the latest version. - Access the Order Status Screen
Tap the Order Screen tab from the menu bar on the left side of the screen. This will display all active orders. - Locate the Order Wait Time Menu
In the top right corner of the customer's Order Details Card, you’ll see the Order Wait Time listed with a dropdown menu. - Select a New Wait Time
Tap the dropdown menu to see longer wait time options:- 5–10 mins
- 10–15 mins
- 15–20 mins
- 20–25 mins
- Confirm the Change
After selecting the desired wait time, a pop-up window will ask you to confirm the change.
Tap Confirm to update the wait time. - Notification Sent
Confirming will trigger a notification sent to the customer via push notification and SMS, informing them of the updated pickup time.
