Release Date: February 16
This release includes improvements to employee management, order clarity, Tap to Pay functionality, settings navigation, and overall system stability.
Employee & Order Management
Employee Search
You can now search, filter, and sort employees. This makes it faster to find team members and verify PIN access.
Grouped Order Items
Identical items and modifiers are now grouped together on tickets. This improves readability during busy periods and reduces order confusion.
Customer-Facing Screen Updates
Cleaner Display
Card reader and printer information has been removed from the customer-facing screen. These controls are managed on the barista side only.
Phone Number Stays Put
Customer phone numbers will no longer reset when items are added to an order.
Tap to Pay & Card Readers
Remote Control for M2 Pairing
Support can now enable or disable Bluetooth pairing for M2 devices remotely—no app update required.
Tap to Pay Sync Fix
The system now accurately tracks whether Tap to Pay is enabled or disabled, reducing false “Tap to Pay not working” reports.
Clearer Tap to Pay Settings
Settings have been redesigned to clearly separate:
- Phone-based Tap to Pay
- External card readers
Improved NFC Status Display
NFC status now appears only when relevant to the device configuration.
Settings & Setup Improvements
Easier Store Selection
A search bar has been added to the store picker, making multi-store setup faster.
Reorganized Settings
Settings are now grouped into clearer sections for easier navigation.
Proper Logout
Logging out now fully clears the session and returns the app to setup mode. This allows switching between app modes without reinstalling.
