How to Direct Message Customers

Coffee shop partners can direct message their customers, and attach a gift card to the message, through joe's newest CCRM tool - coffee customer relationship management tool. This tool is excellent for rewarding customers for leaving a positive review or even sending a personalized message to a customer who did not have a 5 star experience.

Pro tip: Use the filters to refine your search and filter down your customer feedback.

Customers will receive a push notification from joe, alerting them of your message. Tapping the notification will take them to their joe inbox where they will see the message like below:

How to DM Customers

  1. Log in to your joe Merchant Manager portal on a desktop, or toggle to owner mode from your profile of your joe Coffee App.
  2. Select Customers from the navigation menu
  3. Use the filters at the top of the menu, or tap the filter icon to open Filters pop-up window
  4. When you have your desired customer(s) tap the reply icon on the right hand side of the customer card
  5. Add your personalized message.
  6. To add a digital gift card to the message, tap the gift card icon in the top right hand corner of the message box
  7. Choose your gift card value followed by attach
  8. Select Send
