How to Transfer a Square Gift Card Balance to a Joe Coffee Account
For customers who wish to transfer their existing Square gift card balance to a Joe Coffee account, follow these detailed steps to ensure a smooth transition. This process involves interaction from both the customer and a Joe Coffee team member.
Step 1: Customer Information at the Register

- At the register, the customer provides their phone number and name for the order.
Step 2: Customer Scans and Enters Information
- Customer Action:
- The customer is directed to scan a QR code or visit a specific website link provided at the register.
- They enter their gift card information on the website to initiate the balance transfer process.
Step 3: Anthem Team Member Accesses the Management Portal
- Team Member Action (Matia):
- Log in to the management portal at Manage.joe.coffee.
- Navigate to the Customer Tab.
Step 4: Verify Customer Information
- Team Member Action:
- Enter the customer's phone number to pull up their account details.
Step 5: Transfer the Gift Card Balance
- Team Member Action:
- Once the customer's details are verified, enter the amount from the Square gift card into the Grant Reward Balance section of their account.
Step 6: Customer Receives Balance for Next Order

- After the balance transfer is confirmed, the customer will receive a text message or email containing a new 4-digit PIN.
- The customer can use this balance and PIN for future purchases by entering them at the register during their next visit.
