Assign An Open Ticket to A Customer

At joe we understand how important it is for customers to collect their points and we encourage them to do so. Ensuring that every transaction is linked to the correct customer account is key to providing the best service and rewarding customer loyalty.

To add a client's phone number to an open ticket, follow these steps:

  1. On The POS Screen: Start by accessing your POS system and navigate to the running tab screen where all active orders are displayed.
  2. Select the Ticket: Locate the ticket that does not have an assigned customer. This will typically be an open order without a customer name or phone number associated with it. It should just say "in Person"

  3. Enter the Phone Number: Once you have selected the appropriate ticket, you will see a pencil icon next to the "In Person" title. You can select it to name the cusomer. Or below the title, you can enter their phone number. If the customer has an established joe account, their information will auto populate.
